coaching disclosure & Agreement

This Coaching Disclosure explains what coaching is, what it is not, and what you agree to by working
with me in a coaching capacity. Please read carefully.

1. Coaching Is Not Therapy

Coaching is not mental health treatment and is not a substitute for psychotherapy, counseling, or medical care.
Coaching focuses on personal development, goals, habits, communication skills, boundaries, and practical guidance.

I do not diagnose mental health conditions, treat mental illness, or provide any form of medical or psychological intervention during coaching services.

If you need therapy, I can help you determine what type of support is appropriate.

2. Non-Clinical Scope

By working with me as your coach, you understand that:
• Coaching is not clinical, medical, or diagnostic
• I do not provide assessments or treatment plans
• Coaching does not establish a therapist-client relationship
• Coaching is future-focused and skills-based
• All services are educational, supportive, and growth-oriented

3. Crisis Services

Coaching is not appropriate for crisis situations.
I do not provide emergency services or crisis intervention.

If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number, or contact the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988

4. Confidentiality

All coaching sessions are held privately and respectfully.
While coaching is not bound by HIPAA, I maintain confidentiality to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Exceptions include:
• If you disclose intent to harm yourself or others
• If you report abuse of a minor, elder, or vulnerable adult
• If required by law or court order

5. Payment, Refunds, and Cancellations

• Payment is due at the time of booking.
• Sessions must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
• Sessions canceled within 24 hours are non-refundable.
• Package payments are non-refundable once the first session has been completed.
• Deep Dive packages may be split into monthly payments when arranged beforehand.

6. Between-Session Support

If your package includes voice-note support, responses will be provided within 24 hours during business days.
Voice-note support is not for emergency or crisis situations.

7. Client Responsibilities

By agreeing to coaching, you understand and accept that:
• You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and results
• Coaching is a collaborative process, not a guarantee of outcomes
• You agree to use coaching as a non-clinical growth service
• You will communicate honestly and participate actively

8. Consent & Agreement

By booking a session or package with Talks With Kami, you confirm that you have read this Coaching Disclosure, understand the information provided, and agree to these terms.
