This is a small online support group created for people navigating life with epilepsy.

The exhaustion. The unpredictability. The frustration. The isolation.
The identity shifts. The pressure to act like you’re okay when sometimes you’re really not.

This group is meant to be a space where you don’t have to pretend things are easier than they are.

Over the course of 6 weeks, we’ll meet once a week in a guided virtual setting to explore some of the emotional and day-to-day realities that can come with living with epilepsy, including uncertainty, independence, relationships, identity, and the parts that often go unseen by others.

Limited spots available.

The group will be guided by me, Kami Sime, counselor and coach with lived experience with epilepsy. While I’ll help facilitate conversations and create structure for the group, there will never be pressure to share more than you feel comfortable sharing. Some people may come to talk openly. Others may need more time. Both are okay here.

To help create a supportive and comfortable environment, the group will be kept small (up to 6 participants).

The questions below are meant to help me better understand who is interested, what people are hoping to gain from the experience, and create a group that feels like a good fit for everyone involved.

Submitting this form does not guarantee a spot in the group. Applications will be personally reviewed and selected participants will be contacted with next steps.

Real Conversations. No Pretending.

Feel free to share as much or as little as you’d like. You might talk about your experience living with epilepsy, challenges you’ve faced, what stood out to you about this group, why this feels important to you right now, or what you hope to gain from being part of the group. This could include things like feeling less alone, connecting with others who understand, having a space to talk openly, learning coping tools, or anything else that feels meaningful to you.

For example, work, school, family life, caregiving, transitions, or anything else you’d like to share.

Feel free to share anything you think may be important for me to know before the group starts, including concerns, hopes, comfort levels in groups, your current support system, or whether you are currently receiving therapy, counseling, neurological care, or other treatment related to epilepsy. Only share what you feel comfortable sharing.
